So whats next !

We have a few things brewing for next Season regarding Player Sponsorship, Red Tickets and other things that the committee are working on so although our season is over, there is still working going on in the background so please keep checking back to make sure you don’t miss out !

In the meantime, many thanks to all our Supporters, Committee, Players, Management and Sponsors at whatever level for helping to make the 2014-15 Season Maud JFC’s most successful League Season ever.

There is more to come !!

Maud - Runners Up - SuperLeague 2014-15 !

Well after all the speculation and what ifs, we HAVE finished in 2nd Place in the League this season, smashing all previous records for the Club.

To be able to finish above Clubs who have spent loads of money on big name players over the course of a full season is something everyone connected with the Club should be rightly proud of.

Of course that especially goes to the Management and Player who, with a bit more luck, could have actually pushed the eventual winners, Hermes closer. But this has been a fantastic season which should give us the confidence to move forward next season.

This is no ‘lucky’ position we find ourselves in either, having beaten previous Champions Culter home and away and Banks’o’Dee at home in the League and also beating both of them in the Grill League Cup early in the Season, we thoroughly deserved to finish above them.

As far as the numbers are concerned,  we have smashed the biggest points total in our Superleague History, with 58 points, the previous best was 48 points in 2007/8 when we finished 4th.

Thats as well as demolishing the League Goals scored in a season, the previous highest was 69 in 2009, we now have 90 League and 30 Cup Goals.
